Temporal Comments
Published November 15th, 2005 in ITP, blogSo, I’m working on a project at ITP that involves viewer comments on video that are tied to specific points of time in the video. It needs a new title, something less, i dunno, boring. . .
I hope to post some videos and use this system at this site at some point. . . I hope a lot of things, though. . .

While thinking of a title, I realized Im on that chat snippet! And Im white!
What must that mean?
Coming soon: new title for this project (Temporal Comments And the City?)
How could I incorporate this into my site? I get hundreds of comments in the threads, but it looks interesting. I need to know how this works.

Right now, the app is still in an experimental stage and we’re working out some kinks. Very soon, though, we’ll launch it open source w/ instructions on how to implement the system on a vlog. . .stay tuned. . .
That seems interesting. Reminds me of a BBC internal project posted by Tom Coates (http://www.plasticbag.org):
The Annotatable Audio Project (http://www.plasticbag.org/archives/2005/10/on_the_bbc_annotatable_audio_project.shtml)
The post contains really good info about the project. I thought it could be of interest.
Btw, just discovered your blog via processing blogs and am really excited. I really admire your work. Keep on doing it that good.
Best!
