Dickinson Parser

A project I’m working on with Aliki: http://www.alikicaloyeras.com/dickinson/. . . If you can break it (or improve my regexes, which were quickly hacked together) let me know. . .

Very neat :) I read a lot more poetry back in High School, and Dickinson (and William Carlos Williams!) were two of my favorites. Interesting stuff about Dickinson’s poems in the “about the parser page”, too.

It’s a fun tool to play with, although I’m not as familiar with “dorsal”, etc, in terms of sounds, having not studied language (other than computer languages :P ) much myself. Like why aren’t “x” or “k” also dorsal?

Oh yeah, and since you asked, you can use stripslashes() to clear extra slashes that the server sends in during post, and nl2br() to turn newlines into tags.

Anyway, I’m making sure this page gets indexed in Stumble Upon :P heh. Good stuff.
