What would happen if an artwork liked a certain color? This piece, entitled Yellow, was originally developed as a street-level installation that, using similar behaviors as Swarm, tracked the movements of taxis navigating New York City traffic. I am expanding the idea for an upcoming two-screen installation. Instead of searching for yellow taxis, the artwork is fond of two different colors (yellow on one half and blue on the other.) By wearing (or not wearing) appropriately colored clothing, the viewer is invited to assert control over the production of the piece itself.
